FAQs

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A WEDDING PLANNER?

I have been involved in wedding and event planning since 2006  while I lived in Ottawa. I. moved back to Winnipeg in 2009 and began my career in Event Coordination at some of the city’s most iconic venues. I created Inspired Elegance Events in 2014.

WHY HIRE A PLANNER?

I believe with my whole heart that every couple deserves a wedding planner.  Your wedding day should be about you and the joy of spending it with family and friends. I strive to create an environment of trust so that you can focus on what is important – getting married, beginning your life as a married couple and being present for every beautiful second of it.

WHAT MAKES INSPIRED ELEGANCE SPECIAL?

My unique experience in the events industry and my unwavering commitment to you and your wedding day. When you work with me, I welcome you into my family. I strive to make wedding planning personal and believe in a people first approach.

My focus is on creating magic in the details and a wonderful roadmap to help your day go off with a beautiful ‘bang’ (as they say). On the day of, I will always be seeking to strike the balance between being a stickler for the details, and creating a welcome and warm environment for your guests. Knowing when and where to move things along with tact, grace and a little bit of lightheartedness is my superpower.

Do you do destination weddings?

Traveling is one of my favorite things in the world! The answer is yes! Where are we going?

DO YOU WORK ALONE OR WITH A TEAM?

Teamwork makes the dreamwork! I have a staff of dedicated coordinators that live for love and wedding days as much as I do.

WHAT IS YOUR BEST PIECE OF WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE?

Plan YOUR wedding, YOUR way.

As a couple, set your wedding priorities in the beginning and stick to them. Invite the people you truly want to surround yourself with. Don’t love cake? Don’t get one. Make the day personal, make it yours and you won’t go wrong.
